The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water met with an Afghan investor residing in Uzbekistan.

The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Honorable Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, met with an Afghan investor, Mr. Haji Khairuddin Mayel, in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and discussed and exchanged ideas about the construction of water storage dams and investment in energy production projects in Afghanistan.

During the visit, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water asked the investor in Uzbekistan to encourage Afghan investors living in the mentioned country to invest in the construction of water dams and energy production projects in Afghanistan.  .

 It is worth mentioning that the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water visited Uzbekistan under the leadership of a delegation for the purpose of extending the contract of imported electricity and resolving the electricity problems, That the last day the imported electricity contract Between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan was extended for the year 2023.
