The electricity contract with Uzbekistan was extended for 2023.

Dear citizens!

As you know, there has been a shortage of electricity in Afghanistan for the past few months. The reason was, That the electricity which we produce from the country of Uzbekistan, there were some technical issues.

So Regarding this issues, Under my leadership, a delegation of The Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan, in the presence of The General Director Of Afghanistan’s National Power Utility(Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat) Mr.Hanif Hamza and Other technical Colleagues accompanying me, We came to Uzbekistan.

Now there are two things: First, we extended the contract for 2023, Alhamdulillah the negotiations were done and signed. And If there are other technical problems, we will cooperate with each other. They also promised  that we will try, that neither we nor you face any problems. And there are some problems that are pests and no one can deal with the pests.

So, on this basis, we also thank you, dear countrymen, for your patience and tolerance, because on one side it is winter and on the other side there are problems, so on this basis, Alhamdulillah, that problem has been solved. Allah willing these problems will not happen again.

And in the end, i hope and ask you to save electricity, and avoid the unnecessary usage of Heaters and bulbs, it too puts pressure on electricity. So on this basis, If there is saving in consumption of electricity, it will be very good.
