The leading officials of the Ministry of Energy and Water discussed with the governor of Laghman province about the Shahi Canal project.

 Acting Minister of Energy and Water Mula Abdul Latif Mansoor and Deputy Minister of Energy of this Ministry Mullah Abdul Qahir Idris met with the governor of Laghman Province Qari Zain ul Abideen Abid and some local officials of that province.

 In this meeting, the governor of Laghman expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Water for their attention to the Shahi Canal project and requested more cooperation for the implementation of the project.

 The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water assured the Governor of Laghman that this project is in the priority of the Ministry of Energy and Water’s work in addition to its basic and general benefits, and the practical work will be carried out in the future until the approval of the development budget.

 Also, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water said in the continuation of his speech that in the case of a reduction in the development budget, the Ministry of Energy and Water is still trying to take the leadership position to facilitate opportunity for investment in this project.
