The Khadima Canal project in Khost province has been opened at a cost of 14 million Afghanis.

In the Alishero district of Khost province, the construction of the Khadima canal and 21 watergates worth fourteen (14) million Afghanis have opened in the presence of, Engineer Zainullah Naseemi head of the Shamal Khorram sub river basin, the officials of the Liaison office and a number of local officials and Ethnic elders.
The mentioned canal is being repaired with the financial support of the Liaison office with the technical cooperation of Shamal Khurram Sub river basin with a length of 1375 meters, which will irrigate 1320 acres of agricultural land.
In this project, many local workers will be provided employment and 630 families will use it.
