Notification for intention to contract award.

The Ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan (MEW) is supposed to award the contract: Rehabilitation of Lower Kokcha Irrigation, Zone II –Archi Main Canal (AMC), LKIP/AMC LKIP/AMC 0+018 to 20+450 Km Canal Lining and Civil Works, Package 4, under the contract No: NPA/MEW/97/W-2181/ICB with M/S CJSC Prommontaj, having license in order No. 0410003055 located in order, 347, Nabieva Str. Dushanbe Republic of Tajikistan; in the amount of USD 13,933,728.86 (Thirteen Million Nine Hundred Thirty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Eight United States Dollars & Eighty-Six Cents) inclusive of 10% Contingency amounting to USD 1,087,558.59 and provisional sum amounting to USD 250,000.00.

Bidders who appeal reconsideration or have any objection, they can submit their application within 7 days to the Ministry of Energy and Water from the date of announcement.

This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.
