Construction of a dam in Ghazni province has started at a cost of 18 million Afghanis

The work of an intermediate dam project worth 18 million afghanis in Zirak village of Jaghori district of Ghazni province was inaugurated in the presence of the technical advisor of Ghazni sub river basin, Mohammad Nazir Sahar, the district governor of the mentioned district, the police commander and a number of ethnic elders.
The dam, which is 15 meters high, 9 meters wide and 22 meters long in the downstream part, will be able to store 93 thousand cubic meters of water, produce 3 kilowatts of electricity and irrigate 380 hectares of agricultural land, And 385 families will directly benefit from it.
The construction of the dam is being carried out under the supervision of the Ghazni sub river basin with the financial support of the people of the region.
