A meeting was held with the officials of Kabul Municipality to solve the existing water problems in Kabul city

 The General Director of Kabul River Basin, Engineer Habib ur Rahman Haqpal, Director General of Water Affairs, Engineer Noman Nisar, Director General of Water Resources, Engineer Nisar Ahmed Mamozi, and Director of Underground Water, Engineer Aziz ur Rahman Aziz, Held a discussion and exchange of views with the Kabul’s deputy Municipal of Social and cultural affairs, Maulawi Habibur Rahman Mansoor, to resolve the existing water problems in Kabul city.

 In this meeting, the use of surface flows and treated sewage instead of underground water for irrigating green areas in Kabul city, banning of illegal activities in the field of water, public awareness and a number of necessary decisions were taken on other topics and emphasis was placed on joint cooperation for effective use of water and solving existing water problems in Kabul city.
