A four-way coordination meeting on the production of electricity from gas sources was held at the Deputy ministry of Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Water.

 The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Honorable Mulla Abdul Qahir Idris, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Deputy Minister of Mines and Petroleum Mr. Engineer Wahidullah Halimi, representatives of Afghanistan’s National Power Utility (DABS) and Spin Zar Production Company.

 In this meeting, there was a discussion and exchange of ideas about the preparation of the opportunity for investment in the project of generating electricity from gas sources.

 Mr. Deputy minister of Energy, along with presenting the necessary recommendations for investment in the project, emphasized on the self-sufficiency of the country's energy sector and speeding up the affairs in this sector.
