In the presence of the Acting Minister of Energy and Water, a communal project worth $1,100,000 USD, which includes a weir and an irrigation canal, was inaugurated in Bala Kot district of Nangarhar province.
During a meeting, Acting Minister of Energy and Water H.E. Alhaj Mulla Abdul Latif Mansoor, alongside the governor of Nangarhar, local officials, and ethnic elders, inaugurated a public project comprising a weir, canal, and water storage tank in Bala Kot district of Nangarhar province. The project was implemented by the PMS organization of Japan.
At the inauguration ceremony, H.E. Mansoor emphasized the project's significance in the realms of greenery and water management, and he commended the organization's activities.
H.E. Mansoor also articulated the commitment of the Islamic Emirate to providing tangible services in the country, urging the people of Afghanistan to remain vigilant against enemy propaganda and to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate.
It's noteworthy that the implementation of this project will result in the permanent irrigation of 600 acres of land and the seasonal irrigation of 2,250 acres, directly and indirectly benefiting 6,000 families.
