A coordination meeting was held with officials from SKM Turkish Company

A coordination meeting was held with officials from SKM Turkish Company to discuss investing in large water dams and energy production projects. 
The Acting Minister of Energy and Water, H.E. Alhaj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, discussed and exchanged ideas with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SKM Hwaslik Aniniom Company, Honorable Dr. Abbas Rasoolzadah Farsad, and representatives of BIOS Energy Company from Turkiye regarding the construction of energy production and storage dams. They aimed to coordinate the start of investments in these projects.
During the meeting, the Acting Minister of Energy and Water highlighted the significance of major projects undertaken by the Ministry, including the Baghdara Power Dam, Surobi 2 Power Dam, and Shah Tot Lalandar Water Reservoir Dam, These projects were presented to the company for investment purposes.
Simultaneously, the officials from the mentioned companies expressed their readiness to commence investment. It was agreed that technical officials from the Ministry would share project information with the representatives of these companies and visit the project areas.
It's worth noting that a cooperation agreement had been previously signed between the Ministry of Energy and Water and SKM Turkish Company, The officials from the company have expressed their interest in investing in 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
